Adding members
Create a member profile with contact details, address, mobility needs, and service defaults.

Members are the riders you transport. Every trip is booked for a member, so adding a complete member profile first makes scheduling and billing much smoother.
Add a member
- Open Members in the sidebar.
- Click + Add Member at the top of the members table.
- A slideout opens on the General information tab. Fill in the profile (fields below).
- Click Save Member.
Only First Name and Last Name are required to save. The other tabs of the member record (Insurance, Files, and so on) unlock after the member is created.
General information fields
- First Name, Middle Name / Initial, Last Name
- Mobile Number — with Allow SMS and Allow calls toggles for trip notifications and reminder calls (both available once a phone number is entered)
- Date of birth and Sex
- Associated facility — link the member to one of your facilities, if applicable
- Address (street, city, state, zip) — start typing and pick the suggested address, plus an Apartment or Suite field
- Status — Active, Inactive, or Pending
- Notes — special requirements, gate codes, reminders for dispatchers and drivers
You can also add a Profile Photo and a Member Signature (upload or capture either one).
Service Details
The Service Details section stores the member's standing transport needs. New trips for this member start from these defaults, and you can override them on any individual trip.
- Default mobility type — for example Ambulatory, Ambulatory · Walker, Wheelchair (manual), Wheelchair (power), Scooter, or Stretcher
- Default service type — Curb-to-curb, Door-to-door, Door-through-door, Hand-to-hand, or Bedside-to-bedside
- Attendants needed and Additional passengers
- Infectious disease and Oxygen required toggles
- Avoid multiloading — turn this on if the member should never share a ride; you can record the reason (for example, immunocompromised)
Tip: Filling in the mobility type up front means every trip you book for this member automatically carries the right vehicle and capacity requirements.
Billing Contact
If a trip for this member is not covered by a payer, ZeitRide invoices the Billing Contact — a contact name, email, and phone. Leave it blank if it does not apply.
Insurance and coverage
Insurance details live on the member's Insurance tab (not the General information form). After saving the member, open their record and switch to Insurance to set:
- Insurance plan — pick from your company's plan catalog, or choose Other / not listed and type a custom plan name
- Insurance plan ID
- Medicaid ID
Click Save insurance when done.
Importing members in bulk
If you are onboarding and have a member list already, use the Import button at the top of the Members page instead of adding members one at a time.
