SMS Terms
Last Updated: October 21, 2026
1. Program name
ZeitRide Alerts & Updates (the “Program”), operated by Prasar Health LLC (formerly ZeitRide Health LLC), doing business as ZeitRide (“ZeitRide,” “we,” “us”). Messages are sent on behalf of the non-emergency medical transportation providers that use ZeitRide and identify both the provider and ZeitRide (for example, “ABC Transport (via ZeitRide): …”).
2. Program description
The Program sends transactional, ride-related text messages: ride booking confirmations, reminders before a scheduled pickup, “driver on the way” and “driver has arrived” notices, and replies to questions riders text in. Drivers and office staff of a transportation provider receive work notices such as trip updates, expiring-document and vehicle maintenance reminders, and secure invoice payment links on request. The Program does not send marketing or promotional messages.
3. How you opt in
You opt in by agreeing, when you book a ride with a ZeitRide-powered provider by phone or in person, to receive ride-related texts at the mobile number you give, which the provider records with the “Allow SMS” consent box on your profile; when your Medicaid or health-plan transportation broker refers your ride to the provider with the mobile number you gave the broker or plan to be contacted about your rides (texts are sent only if the provider has turned on rider texts); or by texting START to your provider’s text number. Drivers and staff opt in when their employer onboards them and they provide a mobile number for work notifications. Consent is not a condition of service. See how opt-in works.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies, typically a few messages per scheduled ride.
5. Message and data rates
Msg & data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan.
6. Opting out (STOP)
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message (UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work). You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent. Your provider will still contact you about your rides by phone call. To opt back in, reply START.
7. Help (HELP)
Reply HELP (or INFO) to any message for help. For help with a specific ride, call your transportation provider at the number in your message. For help with the Program, contact ZeitRide support at (434) 231-5730 or support@zeitride.com.
8. Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your wireless carrier and device.
9. Privacy
We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are used only to deliver the Program. See our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms. The current version is always at this page. These SMS Terms supplement our Terms & Conditions.
