Delete your ZeitRide Driver account

Last Updated: August 7, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of a ZeitRide Driver account (the mobile app for drivers, published by ZeitRide Health LLC) and of the personal information held against it. It also explains, honestly, what we can delete and what your employer may be required to keep.

First, something important about how these accounts work

The ZeitRide Driver app has no self-signup. You cannot create an account inside the app, and there is no public registration. Driver accounts are created by the transport company that employs you, from its ZeitRide administrator console. That company decides who gets an account and enters most of the information held against it. So a deletion request is handled by us together with your employer, rather than by a self-service button in the app.

How to request deletion

Use either route below. Both reach the same team.

What to include

  • The email address or username you sign in with
  • Your full name as it appears in the app
  • The name of the transport company you drive for

We need these to find the right account and to confirm the request really comes from you. We may ask one follow-up question to verify your identity. We will never ask you for your password.

What gets deleted

Once we verify the request, we disable your sign-in so the account can no longer be used, and we delete:

  • Your login credentials and any active sessions or device tokens
  • Your push notification token, so the app can no longer notify your device
  • Your driver profile photo
  • Your contact details (email address and telephone number)
  • Your driver’s licence number and licence details, unless your employer is required by law or by its contracts to retain them
  • Any location history that is not part of a completed trip record. No location is collected at all while you are clocked out.

What may be kept, and why

ZeitRide is workforce software used by medical-transport companies. Some records are your employer’s business records of transportation that actually happened, and it may be legally required to keep them — including for state Medicaid and transportation-broker reporting, insurance, tax and employment law. These typically include:

  • Trip and stop history, including times and mileage for completed trips
  • Timesheets, clock-in/clock-out records and payroll records
  • Vehicle inspection records and incident reports
  • Receipts, photos and signatures that were captured as proof of service on a completed trip

Where we are able to, we detach these records from your identity rather than keeping your personal details against them. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you which categories we have kept and why.

Deleted data may persist for a period in encrypted backups until those backups are overwritten on our normal backup cycle.

How long it takes

We aim to acknowledge every request within 10 business days and to complete verified requests within 30 days.

You can also go through your employer

Because the transport company that employs you controls your account, you can ask it directly to remove your access. Its administrators can deactivate a driver account from the ZeitRide console immediately, and we will act on a deletion instruction from your employer.
