The Run board

See each driver's day as a timeline, read trip statuses at a glance, and print a driver route sheet.

Last updated October 25, 2026

The Run board shows each driver's day as a timeline, one column per driver, with every trip as a block in time order. It's another view of the same trips you see on the Dispatch board.

Opening the Run board

  1. In the sidebar, click Operations → Dispatch.
  2. Pick the day on the week strip.
  3. In the View toggle, click Run board.

The search box and Filters work the same as on the List board. Click Full width to fold away the left menu and title bar so the board gets the whole screen. Click Exit full width to bring them back.

Trips that still need a driver wait in the Unassigned tray. Will-calls have their own Will Call section in the tray (see Will-call trips). If your company uses auto-assign, see Auto-assign on the Run board.

Trip statuses on the Run board

Each trip block shows where the driver is with the pickup:

  • To pickup — the driver is on the way to the pickup.
  • At pickup — the driver has arrived at the pickup.
  • Picked up — the rider is in the vehicle.

Hover the status to see the full wording, for example "Driver en route to pickup". Click the legend button on the board to see what each color means. The words match the Dispatch board, Live Tracking and the trip's detail panel. See Stop statuses.

Trip actions

Open a trip block's ⋯ menu for actions such as Trip history. If a will-call was dispatched by mistake and the driver hasn't started yet, choose Back to will-call to put it back in the will-call queue. See Putting a trip back to will-call.

Printing a driver route sheet

A driver route sheet lists each driver's trips for the day, in the same order the driver sees them in the driver app. Hand the PDF to drivers, or use the Excel file in the office.

  1. On the Dispatch board (Run board or List board), pick the day.
  2. Set any filters you want: Status, Driver, Vehicle, Facility or Payer. The sheet uses the same day and filters as the board. Search isn't used.
  3. Click Export and choose:
    • Driver route sheet (PDF) — ready to print.
    • Driver route sheet (Excel) — for sorting and filtering in a spreadsheet.
    • All trips list (Excel) — the plain list of every trip for the day, the same file Export gave you before.

A message tells you how many trips are on the sheet. If no trips match the day and filters, the sheet is empty.

To build a sheet for more than one day, use Reports instead. See Running reports.

What's on the sheet

Each driver gets their own section for each day. The section header shows:

  • the driver's name
  • the vehicle (fleet number, year, make, model and plate)
  • the route or run name
  • how many trips they have
  • the time of the first pickup and the last drop-off

Then each trip is listed in driver order, with:

  • stop number and trip number
  • client name and phone
  • pickup time (or Will call) and appointment time
  • pickup and drop-off address
  • level of service and leg
  • extra riders (escorts and extra passengers)
  • driver notes
  • status

Trips with no driver are listed last, under Unassigned. All times are in your company's time zone.

Cancelled and no-show trips are on the sheet by default, so drivers know about them. They're greyed out, don't get a stop number, and show their status in red. To leave them off, set the Status filter before you export.

The PDF is printed sideways (landscape), on letter-size paper. Each driver starts on a new page, the column headings repeat on every page, and each page shows its page number.

The Excel file has the route sheet with a frozen heading row and filters on every column, plus a Drivers summary sheet and a Report info sheet that records the date and filters used.

Note: The sheet only shows what a driver needs to do the trip. Office-only notes, dates of birth, Medicaid numbers and billing details are never included, and broker names are removed from notes and route names. It still holds patient names, phone numbers and addresses, so handle printed copies with care and shred them when the day is done.
