Submitting broker claims
Send completed trips' GPS and completion data to your broker from Ready to Bill, and fix Needs Attention rows.
Last updated July 19, 2026
Trips funded by your broker bill as claims: ZeitRide submits each trip's completion data (and GPS evidence) to the broker electronically. You do this from the Billing page.
Submitting claims in bulk
- Open Billing and set your Date range (click Apply in the picker).
- Click the Ready to Bill chip to see what's waiting.
- Tick the checkboxes on the claim rows you want to send — checkboxes appear only on rows with a linked broker booking. Use the select-all box, or shift-click to select a range.
- Click Submit N to broker.
- The Send to broker confirmation summarizes what will be sent — each trip's GPS and completion data goes to its broker, and if your trips span more than one broker, each is submitted independently. Click Send to start.
- Watch the live progress; each row gets a status dot — Sending…, Sent, or Failed.
You can also submit one trip at a time with the Generate claim button on its row.
Cancellations and no-shows
Cancelled and no-show broker trips are submitted too, with the appropriate cancellation code attached automatically based on the reason you recorded — you don't pick codes by hand. The row's Trip badge shows the reason (for example "Member no-show").
Resubmitting
If a trip was already submitted, its button reads Re-submit claim. Resubmitting re-transmits the data — the confirmation warns you when some selected trips were already sent. Use it after correcting times or a driver on a rejected trip.
Fixing "Needs Attention" claims
Click the Needs Attention chip. Common causes and fixes:
- No broker link — the trip has no matching broker booking, so there's nothing to submit. This usually means the member link or the day's broker data needs fixing — see How broker trips arrive. Once the booking links, the checkbox and Generate claim button appear.
- Submission errored — the broker rejected or failed the last attempt. Hover the Billing status badge for details, correct the underlying data (times are the usual culprit — use the pencil to edit), then Re-submit claim.
- Broker pulled or changed the trip — the trip is no longer submittable because the broker reassigned or superseded it. No action needed on your side; it won't bill.
Before you submit: sanity-check the data
The broker evaluates what you send. Before submitting a batch:
- Confirm actual Pickup and Dropoff times look right on the rows.
- Use the pencil (Edit trip details for billing) for last-minute corrections to times, addresses, or driver — available until the trip is billed.
- Make sure each vehicle's Parking location is set (Settings on the vehicle), since start-of-day GPS reporting anchors there.
What happens after
Submitted rows move to the Sent stage. Payment reconciliation against broker remittance files happens on the Finance page — see Finance: ledger and remittance.
